Born 2166.

Claude’s father was a New Eden rebel who took part in the raid on Waypoint-23 that started the Colonial War.

Claude’s grandfather on his mother’s side was Colonel Salk who led that famous raid.

Colonel Salk was killed and his father captured.

Repatriated to New Eden after the war, his father married and had Sean (2160) and Claude (2166).

Claude’s father remained a diehard rebel.

Exiled to Newport penal colony when Claude was 3 YO, he never returned.

This left Claude, his older brother Sean, and their mother alone.

Sean left New Eden when Claude was 10 YO.

Claude has not heard from him since.

Claude’s adolescent memories are decades after the Colonial War and a decade after the caste system.

By this time Exotech had squashed rebel elements and established a full caste system.

Claude was too young to recall his father and he grew up solely under his mother’s influence.

Honoring his mother, he stayed clear of trouble.

A Starcaste patron secured a Starguild military scholarship and Claude arrived on Earth in 2182 (16 YO).

Graduated Legion Academy in 2185 (1 year early as a 2nd Lieutenant), completed ISS training in 2187 (1st Lieutenant).

The ISS redacted Claude’s pedigree as the grandson and son of diehard rebels.

An ISS fresh out, Claude was assigned to the Eldan Abon-Kar case.

He assembled a team (Hassan, Richter, Ayers) and headed to Whalen’s Reach to investigate Abon-Kar’s connection to Jonathan’s Exodus.
