Heisson Shield Drive

Heisson Shield Drive (HSD) is a teleporting drive that provides fast transport within star systems.

Shield drive projects a dodecahedron shaped field around the ship;

exchanging the volume within the ship’s field with another like volume ahead of the ship effects teleportation.

The field boundary emits a faint glow that resembles a shield, hence the name.

Universally called Heisson Shield Drive in honor of Mark Heisson, its creator.
