Common name for a combat suits self-sealing feature that injects sealant gel into a breach.

The sealant is “forcefully injected” to penetrate both breach and surrounding liner.

Technically named seal-gel, called blast-gel by trial volunteers experiencing “forceful injection”.

Injection process was refined in the final product, but the name stuck.
