Armor Panels

Rigid exterior armor can be added to combat suits for extra protection at the cost of mass and mobility.

Level-1 (L1) panels added to limb increase protection by a factor of 5 over the basic combat suit.

L1, L2 and L3 body armor increase protection by a factor of 8, 15 or 20 over the basic combat suit.
