Records of Caren’s life prior to 2145 were lost in the chaos of the destructive 1st Corporate Wars.

The 1st Corporate Wars saw widespread use of explosives; with artillery leveling city sectors and grav gunships wiping away colonies.

Triarc Medical Services was attacked and absorbed by Scan Medical Technologies (2145) in what many consider the spark that ignited the 1st Corporate Wars.

Caren presented herself as a Triarc dependent orphaned by the attack.

Exceptionally bright, she found a place within Stellar Corporation.

Caren blazed through academic qualifications in record time, graduating a research fellow in 2153.

Bors Muller and Caren left Stellar in 2154 supported by a Triarc grant that included a small starship.

Caren and Bors traveled across multiple star systems taking data that validated Caren’s visionary concepts on stellar formation.

She was convinced she could predict coordinates to star systems that contained earthlike worlds.

Caren’s research had taken her to Whalen’s Reach, the primary holding of Maecenas, a space exploration conglomerate, where she met Frederick Dietz, head of Maecenas stellar exploration (2157).

She had found a company and leadership worthy of her discovery.

Together they would open the galaxy to exploration on an unprecedented scale.

Caren met Jonathan Hryken at a research conference in 2161 and they were married in 2163.

Having convinced Dietz of the accuracy of her stellar theory, she made her prediction of the Seven Worlds known to Jonathan’s inner circle.

Plans for exodus from the Starguild began in earnest.
