Star-tech jobs require personnel wield Starcaste technology (starforce military and starship technicians).

Landcaste and Bondsman individuals qualified for such positions become Unranked Starcaste;

Starcaste by virtue of the technology they wield, but who enjoy few of the perks that go with ranked Starcaste status.

Unranked Starcaste work with ranked Starcaste but their standard of living is Spartan by comparison.

They are expected to know their place like chauffeurs and butlers of late 19th century estates.

Cambronne, Ayers, and Richter are Unranked Starcaste.

Hassan is Rank-5 Starcaste and thus was the only member of the team with access to the Starcaste lounge at Eterna.
