Formation of the Starguild

Mark Heisson presented the Starguild Conventions as a way to reorganize humanity and end the chaos.

Mark divided technology into star-tech, land-tech, and base-tech categories.

Star-tech encompassed all advanced technologies, land-tech terrestrial technologies supporting civilization, and base-tech basic processes and services.

Star-tech corporations had proven themselves off-world.

This qualified them to form a unified Starguild that could responsibly control technology and eliminate total war.

By personally crafting the Starguild Conventions, a new body of governing laws grounded in the realities of the starfaring era, both earthbound and off-world society would be unified.

A battered humanity acquiesced and hoped for the best.
