Fearing demotion to a Rank-7 corporation, they kept a very low profile.
Hebner grew up surrounded by Landcaste and the Bondsmen they oversaw.
He entered his local Rank-8 Landcaste primary school (best for his caste on Earth) never having contact with Starcaste.
He knew off-world colonies existed and he intended to make Starcaste.
