Martial House is a catch-all name for a variety of independent military assets that, for whatever reason, are tolerated throughout the Starguild.
Martial houses range from Drifters Martial House with no starfleet, no training camps or permanent sites; composed of individuals who post and are recruited for local missions on the Drift to Sovereign Martial House with a starfleet that effectively govern their own colony holdings.
