====== Zabit Sharipov ====== Born 2147. Zabit was born on Earth (Exotech) and graduated as a Starguild Armed Forces staff officer in 2169 (22 YO). Zabit graduated near top of his class and was recruited by Serge Raevsky, an experienced and celebrated Exotech field officer recently posted to New Eden. Sharipov arrived on New Eden as a member of Raevsky’s staff in 2170 (23 YO). New Eden had been the heart of the Colonial War (2153 to 2156). 14 years later the majority of its population are unhappy Bondsman. The Starguild had dismantled their multi-corporate, laissez-faire colony and forcefully imposed a totalitarian government and caste system. Raevsky’s battalion had their hands full maintaining order on New Eden (2170). Sharipov married a New Eden native (2172). He helped Raevsky recruit an expeditionary force of New Eden veterans in 2172 and saw action as Raevsky’s XO enforcing Exotech / Order LLC takeover of corporate assets on Gator (2173). **Exotech and the Gator Campaign**: By late 2171, the inside word was Jonathan Hryken and his household would be purged from Maecenas. Jonathan’s Household was the cohesion holding the Nimbus trunk line together. Without Jonathan’s talented retainers, this loose confederation of mid-size conglomerates would splinter leaving assets vulnerable to aggression. Exotech / Order LLC coveted Satcom on Gator (Satcom, Rank-7 Conferred Guild Member; largest manufacturer of prefab colony structures). To subdue Gator, Exotech had to deliver overwhelming military persuasion (Order LLC) followed by an occupational force to hold and establish a new order. Pressed for soldiers, Exotech agreed to Serge Raevsky forming a company made up of New Eden volunteers. In return, Exotech agreed to elevate those soldiers to Starcaste status. **Raevsky on New Eden**: Raevsky and a fresh Exotech battalion were sent to New Eden (2168) to replace the hated Order LLC. Raevsky did his best to reverse the cycle of violent retaliation, but he clearly hated the posting. It was no surprised that he jumped at the chance to escape. Raevsky’s efforts, conviction, and honor had won him the respect of New Eden moderates. This let him recruit a company of Colonial War veterans (men he fought against 16 years prior). The speed with which he assembled his unit and prepared them for battle eluded official Starguild scrutiny. Before official clearance was granted, an eager Exotech sent Raevsky’s unit into action. Called the Old Guard as most of the veterans were over 40, Raevsky’s unit saw Exotech through the conflict. Gator secured, Exotech was unable to secure caste elevation of Raevsky’s unit. **Birth of the Skyhawk Martial House**: Order LLC’s actions on Gator and Exotech’s failed commitment compelled Zabit and Serge to abandon their corporate heritage. Raevsky’s volunteers revolted with the intention of making their way to the Martial Systems at Crestus Point. Raevsky did not sneak along “empty waypoints” on his way to Crestus Point, he defiantly took a tour of Exotech’s colonies extracting “back wages and compensation.” Raevsky hit Caulder first to grab a colony transport, and then, rather than running for Crestus Point as expected backtracked to New Eden to pick up friends and family. Only then did he make his way to Crestus Point. The Union of Crestus Point, a loose confederation of Martial Houses marginally aligned with the Starguild offered them sanctuary. The Skyhawk Martial House was born (2177). **Skyhawk Martial House**: By 2182, Skyhawk had solidified its position providing four-man security teams. Sharipov and his family were posted in the Starguild. 2187, Sharipov returned to Crestus Point for his veteran posting (post 40 YO deployment). Successful veteran officers went on to command elite units within the Home Fleet. Others were posted to Skyhawk teams employed as bodyguards and retainers within the Starguild. Sharipov was a highly qualified officer whose charisma rivaled Raevsky. This made him an excellent candidate for the prestigious position as the Skyhawk’s executive responsible for Skyhawk units on the New Eden trunk line. 2194, Sharipov is the Skyhawk executive responsible for the New Eden trunk line (47 YO). He was on New Eden negotiating security contracts when Cambronne arrived. Sharipov has seven four-man fire teams with him to demonstrate Skyhawk abilities (equivalent to 21st century airshows). Skyhawk had no rank or caste system; New Eden’s chief executive bestowed Starcaste R5 status to Sharipov while he was on New Eden. ▲ [[:l1:Start]] • [[:l1:History:]] • [[:l1:Locations:]] • [[:l1:Organizations:]] • [[:l1:Personalities:]] • [[:l1:Technology:]]
