The Starguild was formed to unite humanity and eliminate the threat of total war.

Technology was divided into star-tech, land-tech, and base-tech categories.

Star-tech encompassed all advanced technologies, land-tech terrestrial technologies supporting civilization, and base-tech basic processes and services.

The Starguild’s complete control of star-tech technology promised the elimination of total war.

In 2156, humanity was further divided into castes: Starcaste, Landcaste, and Bondsmen.

It took the 2nd Corporate Wars to fully impose the caste system (2165).

Bondsmen caste became permanent and hereditary a year later (2166).
